Pregnancy Journal collects and stores the following information that you provide:

• Journal entries and text content
• Photos and videos you add to entries
• Pregnancy profile information (due date, etc.)
• App preferences and settings

By default, this data is stored locally on your device.

2. Data Storage

Local Storage: Your journal data is primarily stored on your device. This means your entries, photos, and videos remain under your control.

Optional Cloud Features: We may offer optional cloud backup or sync features in the future. If you choose to enable such features, your data would be transmitted to secure servers. You will always be informed and asked for consent before any data leaves your device.

3. No Account Required

Pregnancy Journal does not require you to create an account to use the core features. You can use the app immediately without providing personal information such as your email address.

If we introduce optional features that require an account in the future, creating an account will remain optional.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We may share data only in the following circumstances:

• With your consent: If you choose to use optional sharing or backup features
• Service providers: Trusted partners who help us operate the app (e.g., cloud storage providers), bound by confidentiality agreements
• Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

5. Photos and Camera Access

The app requests permission to access your camera and photo library to allow you to add photos and videos to your journal entries. These media files are:

• Stored locally on your device by default
• Only shared if you explicitly choose to use sharing or backup features

6. Data Deletion

You have control over your data:

• You can delete individual entries at any time within the app
• Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored app data from your device
• If you use optional cloud features, you can request deletion of cloud-stored data by contacting us

7. Data Backup

Your Pregnancy Journal data may be included in your device's backup (iCloud Backup or local backup) according to your device settings. These backups are managed by Apple and are subject to Apple's privacy policy.

8. Third-Party Services

The app may integrate with third-party services to provide certain features. When third-party services are used, their respective privacy policies will apply. We will inform you when such integrations are active.

9. Children's Privacy

Pregnancy Journal is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or features. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

For significant changes, we will provide notice through the app or other means.
